Ignite offers funding opportunities for small businesses with funding provided by Atlantic Canadian Opportunities Agency, and the New Brunswick Government.

Please note that there are two seperate processes for the loan and grant applications.

Impact Loan

Impact Loan

Ignite operates the Impact Loan program for entrepreneurs in the Greater Fredericton Region. The personal loan is between $5,000 and $50,000 in working capital for startups and expansion projects.

The Impact Loan is only available to entrepreneurs located within the Greater Fredericton Region. Before you apply, please ensure you are within city limits.

Seed Grant Fund

Seed Grant Fund

Planet Hatch operates a Seed Grant Fund, funded by the Province of New Brunswick, for high-growth potential entrepreneurs in the Province of New Brunswick. The non-repayable grant of up to $25,000 provides working capital for prototyping, product and client validation and market entry activities.

Limited funding is available on an annual basis. Entrepreneurs are encouraged to contact funding@myignite.ca to assess their eligibility for the fund.
