A Day in Tracy with the Ignite Marketing Team

A Day in Tracy: Cranberries, Cookies, and Community Connections

Despite the rainy fall weather, myself and my two colleagues, Julia and Rey, set out on a road trip to the Village of Tracy - and trust us, not even the rain could dampen our excitement for the day ahead.

Our first stop? Springbrook Cranberry Inc., a local gem we were eager to learn more about. We got the full farm experience - touring the property, driving out to where the cranberries are planted and harvested, and learning all about the process that goes into turning those bright red berries into the delicious products you see on shelves.

If you’re in the area, you can find Springbrook Cranberry products at several local spots:

Fredericton:

Keswick Ridge:

Fredericton Junction:

We left with a newfound appreciation for the effort and passion that goes into every berry grown at Springbrook Cranberry.

Next, it was time for a well-earned lunch break at Momma B’s Take-Out & Pizzeria, located inside The Tracy Store. The menu was seriously impressive - and the food? Even better. Everything was made fresh and full of flavour. And of course, we couldn’t possibly leave without grabbing some of their homemade cookies to bring back to the office. (It’s called field research… right?)

After lunch, we made a quick stop to visit the Jeremiah Tracy, First Settler Statue, to pay tribute to the village’s roots before heading to the Village of Tracy Office to meet Mayor Dale Mowry.

Our conversation with the Mayor was full of great insights, we learned about the history of Tracy, the community’s growth, and the many initiatives that keep it thriving. We also shared a few laughs along the way (we’re convinced every good meeting should include those).

Before wrapping up our visit, we stopped by the Tracy Seniors & Friends Community Centre, located in the lower level of the municipal building. It was the perfect way to end our day, seeing firsthand how this space brings the community together.

Rain or shine, Tracy left us smiling - and maybe just a little bit craving another one of those cookies.
