VISION | 2030

On May 16, Ignite officially launched Vision 2030: A Path Forward, a bold Regional Economic Development Strategy designed to strengthen local industries, attract investment, and create sustainable jobs across Fredericton and the Capital Region.

The strategy focuses on the region’s four priority sectors: Knowledge Economy, Creative Industries, Defence, and Natural Resources.

The region is home to major defence organizations, including CFB Gagetown, a key training and operational hub for the Canadian Armed Forces.
