Impact Loan
Ignite operates the Impact Loan program for entrepreneurs in the Greater Fredericton Region. The personal loan is between $5,000 and $50,000 in working capital for startups and expansion projects.
The Impact Loan is only available to entrepreneurs located within the Greater Fredericton Region. Before you apply, please ensure you are within city limits.

Funding Opportunities for Rural Areas
Ignite offers the resources to gain access to a range of funding opportunities for entrepreneurs in rural areas to thrive.
CBDC (Rural Areas) offers repayable General Business Loans of up to $150,000 to support small and growing rural businesses.
The Self-Employment Benefit (SEB) Program supports eligible unemployed Atlantic Canadians with financial assistance and guidance to start a business.
Farm Credit Canada (FCC) provides agriculture and food businesses with financing for equipment, land, livestock, and operations.
Futurpreneur Canada offers up to $20,000 in financing to entrepreneurs aged 18–39 launching a business in Canada.
MITACS connects businesses, municipalities, and hospitals with skilled students and researchers and provides funding for eligible projects.
LearnSphere offers New Brunswick businesses access to export and commercialization funding, along with educational workshops that build workforce skills and business capacity.
Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) provides commercial loans for businesses operating for at least 12 months.
