The GovMaker Conference is designed to advance open government theory and practice, public sector, and social innovation in New Brunswick. The conference aims to facilitate networking, create cross-sector relationships, and build capacity for citizens and government to engage in open dialogue, open data, and open collaboration to achieve a more inclusive future. The attendees include decision-makers from the government, researchers, social innovators, and other experts. GovMaker connects people, builds trust, and creates actionable items for policymakers. This year, GovMaker also aims to create a sustainable plan for the future after the sunsetting of NBSPRN.
