A Day in New Maryland with the Ignite Marketing Team

Last weekend the marketing team got into the fall mood with our visit to the Village of New Maryland. We started off the day with a beautiful morning walk through the New Maryland Nature Trails.

These easy-going trails are perfect for a casual stroll with friends or family and the perfect spot for nature enthusiasts. This well-maintained trail system includes bridges and pathways to explore, benches to take a rest and enjoy nature, and signs posted throughout the trail with interesting facts about the trail, wildlife, and natural ecosystems within the park.

The reddening leaves on the trail left us in the perfect mood to do some fall shopping.

Located in front of the trails is the New Maryland Centre where the New Maryland Fall Market was in full swing. This busy market spot featured local artisans and crafters like 3D by Dan, baked goods from several booths including From Ava’s Nannie, and even more delightful fall goodies like Cranberry Steve’s BBQ Sauce. There was also a special guest appearance by the New Maryland Heritage Association, selling tickets for Chase the Ace.

If you missed this last fall market, don’t worry! The New Maryland Market happens once a month. Be sure your get your spooky fix at their Halloween Market on October 26th.

We rounded out the day at the Wetmore Street Bar & Grill for a late lunch. This friendly diner has a large menu selection with options for everyone. The Maple Chicken Wrap, classic Grilled Cheese and sides of caesar salads (with homemade dressing!) was the perfect finish to the day.

If you’re looking for more to do in New Maryland, make sure to follow them on Facebook and keep your eye out for their next Sunday Market!
